Failure to hold airplane in place during run up:

Stephen Meyer · Mar 03, 2019

I am looking for a better braking system for my adventure II. I found as I run up the engine rpm to about 2700 rpm and above. The main wheel braking system starts to slip so I can never reach full engine run up rpm (4000+) with-out the plane moving forward. I have measure the Dot 5 line oil pressure and it is at 600 psi, put on new brake shoes and cleaned the rotors. The wheel assembly look like new. I wonder if other Adventure II are having the same problem? Please let me know... Any suggestions?
